The Full Story
What is it that fuels you? For us, it’s Project: Voice for Gen Z. We are starting up this project because we are trying to get Generation Z to step-up and have their voice. We are people who always felt like our voices were being stripped away, and we are tired of that feeling. We are a part of Generation Z, and we spoke to the public below, and above the age of 18. With that being said, during the conversations, the majority of those below 18 said "No, I don't have a voice. You only get a voice when you turn 18, and become an adult." also spoke to people 18+ and we have heard that they feel that they are unable to speak upon what has happened in the past that affects them mentally and spiritually.
Project: Voice for the Gen Z is going to give those who feel like their voice doesn't matter, a chance to get their voice and own up to it! It is time for those who are afraid to speak up on certain subjects, a chance to feel comfortable sharing those stories. The founder (Joel Fuentes) is one who has been sexually assaulted when he was younger by a family member, and he felt like he couldn't say anything about it because, he thought his own blood was going to talk down on him, and not believe him, and that is a messed up way of living, nobody should ever feel the same way he did!
Project: Voice for the Gen Z is going to have all sorts of subjects because, it's for not only for those who have been sexually assaulted but, also for any topic/community in Generation Z, and that can include: Activist for Animal Abuse, Activist for the Black Lives Matter, Activist for Legalization of Cannabis, Voice's speaking up because they have Drug Addiction and so much more.
